Terms and Conditions

Applies to clients in UK and overseas.

These terms and conditions govern your contract with The Sober Plan.

“You” refers to the individual purchasing the programme 

“We” “I” refers to The Sober Plan.

By contracting with The Sober Plan, you are confirming that you:

  • Are over 18 years of age and agree to comply with these terms and conditions.
  • Are not medically dependent on alcohol. Note that it may be dangerous for you to suddenly stop drinking and you should contact your GP for medically supervised reduction where appropriate


You are aware that the coaching relationship between The Sober Plan and you is in no way to be construed as psychological counselling.

If you feels the need for additional professional counselling or therapy, the I may signpost you to alternative licenced professionals although it is your responsibility to pursue your preferred solution.

You are aware that the coaching relationship is in no way to be construed as business consultancy.

Coaching results are not guaranteed.

You enter coaching with the understanding that you are responsible for creating your own results.


You acknowledge that these coaching services do not constitute medical or psychiatric treatment. It is your responsibility to consult with appropriate healthcare professionals for any medical or mental health conditions.

You agree to provide accurate and truthful information about your background, health, and any relevant circumstances that may impact your coaching experience.

You understand that the success of your recovery depends on your commitment and active participation in the coaching process.


All information shared during coaching sessions will be treated as strictly confidential, except where required by law or if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others.’

The Sober Plan may collect and store personal information as set out in Data Protection Act 2018, the UK’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).


Payment for our coaching services is due before the programme begins.

No quibble refunds will be given within the first 14 days if you state in writing that you no longer wish to engage with The Sober Plan.


All content, materials, and resources provided by The Sober Plan are protected by intellectual property rights and are for personal use only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any materials without our written consent.


The Sober Plan shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from or in connection with the use of our services.

The Sober Plan makes no guarantees or warranties regarding the outcome or success of your recovery journey.


I reserve the right to terminate or suspend our services for reasons including but not limited to non-compliance with these terms and conditions or inappropriate behaviour.


These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom and/or Scotland. Any disputes arising out of these terms and conditions shall be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom and/or Scotland.


I reserve the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes.
